Our Poem

is the crackle of withering time
against the cobblestone path
and, the waning eclipse of
pilfered moments

It’s the rush of tomorrow’s miscues
amidst yesterday’s future
lingering, with the blush destinies;
of solid oceans

It’s the stirring echoes
of ripened fruit,
and the carnal fragrance
of prophetic smiles

It's the color of joyous moans
dripping down silent silk
onto naked want,
and hearts laughter

It's the hidden embrace
of a borrowed memory,
and a stellar coupling
tempered, by locked up promises

It’s the immortal anguish of,
helpless desire
and, unfeasible completeness

Our poem,
is us

Freedom of expression is our, write.

Good morning, Richy!

When I got to the closing line, I literally got a little tingle and sighed 'Oooo, how delightful'!

Actually, I had a tingle or two during the entire reading of your poem!

Fortunate be the one for whom you write!

May your "poem" never end!

I wish I could quote some verse that moved me to ecstasy, but I simply couldn't choose.  Your choice of imagery left me breathless.
