I tried to write a poem,
that might break out
of its shell for a while,

dazzle you with verbal
handstands and
slight of hand tricks,

I hoped it might
want to be written,
have it own hunger,

but today its like
its originator,
unable to reach you,

or reach myself,
as it dissolves
into a lifeless form.

see? you found inspiration to write a poem
in not being able to write a poem!

sometimes those words hide, and it's
irritating...but you created something good
out of it! Thanks for sharing.
