I wish you could walk beside me The heart you have keeps me beating Turn back to last year I saw you look at me Your eyes told me everything I guess I didn’t play the game I wanted to play I wanted to talk to you everyday But now the end is already gone I lost you and that is all I was taught That ride was the last thing I remember from last summer Now I’m back to where I began I’d pray to god to see a girl like you again If it was you I would be the happiest man on earth But now you’re gone I won’t be that man Unless I’m blessed But that is something that won’t ever happen Cause I would love you till the end of time |
