i know it's a bit early for mother poems, but heck let's celebrate the women who birthed us everyday right? here's my poem to my Lovely Mother. Mother mine I love you more Than the ocean’s deepest blue Or a breeze in summer rain Or a the flowers in our garden Mother mine you are more Pretty than a sunny day Or light snow fall on Christmas Eve More lovely than bird song Mother mine I say your name It sounds sweet in the confines Of a home that you furnish and keep It rings everywhere to find your ears Mother mine for all the love I hold None is clearer than in this form A poem for thee Mother mine Something short for you Mother Love is never foolish- and if it is, it is a Divine Foolishness. |
