Finger of God
touched them
violet lilies bloom
caressing the fountain

Mountains
with crests of snow
look somber and sleepy
while mists of dawn
creep slow.

Light spills
breaking shadows
weave a patchwork of hues
painter's dreamscape etched
into his palette.

snowflakes
perched on trees
dancing on tiptoes
prisms of white gems
dazzling by sunlight
