Great Now every half wit here Will have a story to tell Under the title I was there Those soldiers below Are bored as Hell Having so often Done this before And since It doesn’t matter What I say or do Being beyond all ridicule There might as well Be laughter So Hey Young Man With your pain for a crown Before we die As the sun goes down Have you heard the one About the shepherd’s daughter .
