 Artist: Julia Swartz A Dove-ly Spring Day ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ I awoke to the cooing of a dove on the sill, Then opened my eyes to its look, quizzical. It appeared as surprised as I was this morn, To be sitting on ledge inside casement dorm. I thanked the avian for its spring morning song, Its eyes seemed to smile as I joined along. I was touched by the spirit of this cooing song bird, For its voice was the sweetest that I’d ever heard. I arose from my bed and my wee friend flew away, What a lovely start to a dove-ly spring day! . |

Mr. T. ~ It truly was a dove-ly way to start my spring day! It was a portent of the wonderful things that lay in store for me! I wish I could capture it from beginning to end.  (does happy dovetail dance) Yay! They say the dove is linked to my sun sign of Scorpio, where Scorpios who are not self-actualized are often in the scorpion or golden eagle form, or oscillate between them, whereas self-actualized Scorpios are doves, so it's quite possible it was actually me coming to visit my dearest angel friend, yay! (unless you see me as more of a golden eagle or phoenix, LOL!) This is a most joyous poem that would make anyone's morning reading it, yay, God Bless You, we all love you so much! Lee ~ I feel that way as well. In my own life, doves have always appeared to bring messenges from Spirit. I have been eating my lunch outside on my deck everyday ~ regardless of whether the sun is out or not. I know its still shining behind those gray skies even when I can't see it! Big hug, Linda |
