. Ah this grand dame Wants me in her zoo As if I were some prized animal For display I need only acquiesce To her aggressiveness And it’s easy garnished with opulence Every day A man should make plans For his old age Though a certain amount of persiflage May be required in exchange Still how would I use Such words as truth and love Beauty as made worthwhile just being alive Without a memory being stained . |
