                      Eve had a dandy plan

to make me her candy man

             we sung like Sandy and Dan

while sipping brandy together, we had fun on her land

then one day we slipped

                         i tried to grip

but she was already playing our favorite song from Gladys Knight and the Pips

                         before our ship

                            could sail
