    Ghost-poet Lake
   (dreams live on!)

Fine inverted mountains…
trimmed in azurine mist,
caress the fleeting Autumn
  twilight
and dance in clear-ripple
  harmony
to the loon’s plaintive song,
across a lake where ‘poet-
  dreams’
pass trailing wisps of time
and remain forever young,
when we cast no shadows
in the bright moonlight.
              ~
