When the dusk shadows Are on the forest When the leaves rustle For a moment and then are still When all but one bird is silent Softly singing his little tune Then I know it’s you Who moves In the mood’s lambent air Gliding under a silver moon The turbulent sea Calmed by your presence The darkening hour unafraid Of whatever is to be . |
