at the beach... i wish

drops of slush
and ice
fall from the
sky

like cold
hurting tears
they make you
shiver
and feel
with out a choice

they leave a mark
that will soon
fade away
and evaporate
into the clear
blue sky
with out a word
not even a
good-bye

sad or happy
you may be
or what you may
choose to be
is lonely...
