I understand what you've been through
and I believe that what you tell me is true.
And though I just want to please you
I know the risk and I know you feel it too.

And that is where I am aware of it all...aware of it all.
So lead me to the ledge. I'm ready to fall.

I've wasted years trying to find you.
I realize that you've been struggling too.
I don't think love has to blind you.
If we just let it happen, we'll see it through.

And that is where I am aware of it all...aware of it all.

Sometimes it happens but we get in the way.
Sometimes it happens but we've nothing to say.
Sometimes it happens but it isn't our day.
Now that it's happening I just want it to stay.
