So happy to see me

Looking up
Did you have to
Close those eyes
That face
So full of joy

For a year or more
I’ve been avoiding you
You being nowhere
In my plans

Yet here I am
In this cream
Colored corridor
Waiting for you
To reappear

Why

So happy to find me

Making it impossible
To walk away
