The poison of my soul.
Seeping slowly through my veins,
Destroying all that I once was.


It's too bad I'm not as wonderful a person as people say I am, because the world could use a few people like that.

you've aptly described in your short write the effects of so many deadly sins...bitterness, malice, hatred, envy, selfishness, greed...to name just a few
