I Am I am a daughter and a friend I wonder who I am I hear my mothers cry I see my sister’s smile I want to be free I am a daughter and a friend I pretend to be correct I feel mistaken I touch my face wet with pity I worry too much I cry inside I am a daughter and a friend I understand my feelings I say I’m ok I dream of happiness I try to be me I hope I am believed I am a daughter and a friend |
