The song of my heart;
the tune of the sea;
the ebb and the swell
that will bring you to me.

With tears in my eyes
and a heart on my sleeve
as I stare at the ocean
where I saw you leave.

The spray of the sea
and the winds quiet wail
keep soft, gentle rhyme
as I count down the time
of our half-way farewell.

Nothing is more painful than realizing he meant everything to you, but you meant nothing to him. (Unknown)
