Standing Still

By myself I stand strong,
Watching the people pass by me,
Friends, old and new,
Seem to move forward while I am stuck still.

I watch as they develope and move on.
The sound of a sad acoustic guitar plays behind me,
A beautiful sound, that tells a sad story.
My friends grow distant, as I remain still.

This is something that happens to many. IN truth everyone is standing still while the world simple tosses them around.

Its weird feeling like youre stuck in one spot standing still just watching everything else move on without you.
This is a really good poem, I like it a lot.
