Hey, so here's another poem. Let me know what you think and maybe help me with a title. Thanks Another night in my room It's always the same I hear his footsteps outside my door I hear him call my name Shivering and shaking Here comes the fear On his breath I can always smell the beer Trying not to breathe Wondering whats next The whole time I'm staring at the exposed hair on his chest I scream and fight to get free It's no use, it wont work This has to happen to me After he's done and my soul feels gone I think about what I could've done wrong I cry to myself wondering "why me??" I wish he would die and leave me be Even if he did, I wouldn't be set free He put a child inside of me Ill live this nightmare all through my life No matter what, Ill live in fright. Hoping someday that he'll go away I know he won't because she wants him to stay It makes me want to die So I can hide whats growing inside Worried all the time that someone will guess Why I hate him the best Its because of what he's done to me Making me a mother to be. |
