Wishing On A Star

I see the moon smiling
As the stars shine bright
It seems the glow above
Is beckoning me to write

As stars gather around
Reaching my pen I write
Wishing you were here
Sharing in the moonlight

Tonight I thought of you
No matter where you are
I was writing meanwhile
Here wishing on the star

Upon the stars I convey
Spread on the sky above
Sending you heartprints
Each one I sign with love
