It is winter now- the water fights against the air but to be frozen isn't all that bad, as if caught in a longing stare. There is a beauty of ice, time made to be still, enraptured, captured, even if against one's will. Love has a short lifespan, better to be in photographs, better to skip the stones she cries and preserve the light she laughs. 1st picture: a rest area in Silver Point TN 2nd picture: Baltimore before entering the tunnel |

Love has a short lifespan, better to be in photographs, I've been told that I document life instead of living it... but maybe that's because that short lifespan needs to be captured... to remind a broken heart it actually existed. Great write! |
