You know, Ida, I once knew a very wealthy and self-possessed woman who was wont to express her complete and utter boredom by telling those around her, "That's interesting." Thanks for your comment. "And every time I've held a rose |

Yo OldPoet, I'd try to do something about the forced rhymes in this write. Bobby |

I think Ida's right - I think this is interesting (and not because I am bored - if your poetry bored me, I would not wait so long for it to load. You wreck havoc on those of us with dial up). Anyway, this reminds me of Alaska and the villages up north. I was waiting for the last two lines to end though and am still not sure if you ended on with two lines or if the poem stopped loading. That was a little disconcerting. Otherwise, I enjoyed this interesting (grins) poem. A |

I think Ida and Alison are right! This is a very interesting poem. And, there is no boredom here. |

I am sorry you took offence at my comment Oldpoet. "Interesting" is a good thing in my way of thinking. I could have said it was uninteresting. There are many "interesting" poets on this site who write wonderful poetry so I am never bored. Not rich or self-possessed either. Sorry. Ida |
