A great silence Is growing Inside me I can feel it Absorbing Light sound Passing memory Disappear Into an all Words I hear That once before Meant so much Now lap the shore Of a shaded island On the sea Whose sun sets On the horizon line A white sail approaching Drawing nearer by the hour As I listen To silence sing . |
