Listening to every heart

Kansas Sighs….Pen #1

Exactly at 9:00 p.m.
CST
I took out
the last remains
tomorrow being pick up day.

There is no wind
it is not yet spring

yet a full moon
shows off stripes
of white clouds
along star-scraped
navy blue skies…

my blood runs red
at the hope
that tomorrow

America will enjoy
another day.

I do believe
full moons bring
That
along with a
prayer, or two.

Sissie...It was a beautiful moon I saw magically coming out of a storm. I'm glad you saw it too. Seems we're not so far apart.
