Bones is way too urban.

The idle,
suburban,
middle class

just dosn’t dig him.

They fear him.

You have the right idea there. Like many thing that take no time and effort, fear is a waste of time.

I don`t know Bones ethnic background but from what I gather in this poem he is a victim of discrimination.
