Janus Song Along this forgotten forest road lies an old truck abandoned … to vanish among the Janus snowdrops, white-velvet frost, and bare trees tipped by silver moonlight. In these deep-winter woods, where you may leave ‘the world’ far away like fading echoes of distant evening bells, only gentle serenity reigns as time and fixed purpose matter no more. --- b. e. adams (1/17/2009) |

Yo Secondhanddreampoet, This works well as a tribute to Janus, the god of doorways. Bobby |

... that eternally 'two-faced' deity ... one always looking from said 'doorways' to the past ... the other, of course ... to the future! |
