winter's gray cold skies go about reaping the rays of heat, from the old sun, stripping the life from warmth. covering the land with silver sod, barley a shadow to sprout , not a pear of light to be found under winters crown. |

Never mind cabin fever. I don't get that now down here where I live, but when I lived in New York (Flushing & Long Island) there were days I couldn't even get to work and work was only about six blocks away. This poem was right on . . . . . . and the Raven said, %!~#&(!$! |

It is the monochrome of silver gray which casts a fog upon my day and shivers me from crown to sole. Though sun I seek, adore, cajole, 'tis still old Jack whose pattern sprays and feathers me frozen in icy bouquets. Love your wintry blast! ![]() |
