Nature's Truth and Love As the night wind plays a perfect twilight melody to a gentle vanishing sunset, the rising moon sweeps o’er mountain, lake, and forest in a flickering moonbeam shadow-dance on this eve of Spring passing, washing mind, heart, and spirit clear of all worry, grief, and pain, until only Nature’s truth and love remain; and in refusing all other worldly thoughts, hopes, or dreams ... I know only you. --- b. e. adams (6/18/2013) |

Nice lean up to the real reason this poem was written. You give us nature's finest beauty before the last line defines you. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

So beautiful, Bruce! Most of us don't forsake those worldly things often enough. |

Sounds really as a love poem ) And these lines I like very much: "clear of all worry, grief, and pain, until only Nature’s truth and love remain" Getting in touch with nature clarifies us ) |
