Sleeping Bear Dunes In the end there is nothing Particularly fascinating about Frankfort Michigan except that We were there We walked along the shore The main road in town I bought you a huge candle Full of seashells from a local store Did we watch the sun go down On the lake the lighthouse as I did Many years after with another I don’t remember it was all So long ago The last soft tones of blue Begin to disappear there are Stars beginning to fill the sky Still shining on your hair . |
