Whispering about Lindsay Lohan

last night I dreamed
of a crowded room
everyone was whispering about Lindsay Lohan
the room smelled of perfume
and cigar smoke
the perfume and the smoke
settled in the pores of all
I remember hoping
for a glorified rush when the odors got to me
I didn't see me in that room
but I saw every one I used to be
the hostess
did all of the ones I used to be
the woman was insatiable
thank god
she didn't do the me now
but went back
to whispering about Lindsay Lohan

I'm a little hard of hearing, (too much construction work for one lifetime I guess). Point is, I don't mind not knowing what the whispers are about. A little smile will always make them stop though... then they just wonder if you know.
