Surrounded by family, and yet so alone. Entrapped in this house, I called my home. Work everyday, just to try and survive. Feeling no joy, neither dead, nor alive. Trying to fit, the patriarch role. Failing miserably, is taking its toll. No role model, for the kids. No support, for the wife. What a waste, of a God given life! |

I relate pretty much to this, Dakota. I am not surrounded by family, I'm alone by choice. Still. I fit the mold of everything else you said. If they give you ruled paper write sideways. |

Feeling for you here. Too many young men are going through these thoughts and there is really not much one can say to cheer you. But do know you are not alone. Many men who hold high positions also go though this. So what ever spot you hold, know you are not alone. Best to you Jo Perry [This message has been edited by latearrival (11-10-2014 01:37 AM).] |

It hurts...wow does it hurt. Doesn't matter how many people surround you, you can still be lonely. I think that's the worst pain there is. |

I think you need a family-oriented conversation. Soon. |
