                Poet of the Light

We are as the last leaves of Autumn at
the mercy and whims of the wicked
   Winter wind
or a troupe of pale shadows following
the cold-indifferent November moon, lost
in the realms of Time’s mysteries and the
   night.
O where, o where and why has he gone
that poet of the Spring and the light?

Ahhh . . . There is lots to be composed about the snow, the ice, the chilling temperatures, Bruce. Take what's given you . . .

If they give you ruled paper write sideways.

I guess we all need to step back and recuperate and snow just the excuse to do so. The "poet" will be back.
