Major sea, The poetry has no weight, No foam in your eyes, Nor print with salt. To love it is to die from few, The poetry is sometimes secondary, It is necessary to put before her The allegory of waves, The freedom to know the wind, The rustle of a kiss On your subdued nape of the neck. Major sea, The poetry has no weight, I have at first to inhale sea sprays. |

Ahhh . . . But then you are here giving us cause to believe that poetry does, indeed, have some weight. ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

yes indeed Jerry, contradiction is inherent in this poem, using poetry to say that poetry is sometimes useless, but this is a recurent process i guesss in literature, how to say it elsewhere ? thanks for commenting |

Like the way you address Major sea, in this as something beyond you almost... then alas come to the realization you must first inhale sea sprays to even have a clue. Allegory or not, you know you are looking at something vast, and not entirely sure how to breach it. Enjoyed. Michael |

thanks michael, i tried to express the fact, that before to be a poet (may be the translation is clumsy) you have to inhale the character of the sea and enjoy it to have access to poetry, this was my state of mind when i wrote it, thanks for your convincing comment, enjoyed it yann |
