Truth Truth is on life support, In a world based on lies. Yet the concern falls short, While we're spoon fed alibis From the day that we are born, Till they lay us in our grave. Every cent accounted for, Till there's nothing left to save. Whether my belief or yours, Of the circumstance at hand; The results seem to concur That by all choices we're damned To serve a higher calling Than most ever will observe. Till Destiny comes calling, And truest of truth's served. Truth conditional, you're told Something so much it's ingrained... Believed the key to your soul, Infinitely preordained. And yet all truths are different, Perception always playing part. 'Sides death, much to my amusement, Only truth, humans ain't that smart. I have often said, when seldom the conversation arises, that there are as many Gods as there are people that believe. Or that none of us really believe in the same God because we don't think alike. For me, God and Truth are pretty much synonymous. So I agree with you about perspectives but I don't see it as negative, it is just part of a larger Truth. Good shot my friend. ~L |
