The Last Lovers Waltz |

Crisp and clear each note rings of this lovers waltz we hear From across the great hall we make our way to one another With an ever so subtle smile you reach out your hand I draw it to my lips and place my arm slowly about your waist We begin to move together and without so much as a flutter, our eyes become full with each others presence 'I am yours and you are mine' they seem to say for whatever time we have together Just us two alone with no thoughts past ourselves, flowing through flood rushes of warm emotions Then, all too soon, the music draws down and begins to fade away And as it does you begin to fade away along with it ...until I can see you no more She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |

Thanks JerryPat. Isn't it amazing that in quiet moments we can recall ten minutes out of 45 years or more? There is a God. ![]() She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |

I think I've written of a waltz or two. This is lovely. |

Music allows us to experience emotions that are forever stored along with the tunes, that stirred our heart. And Waltz is perfect for this "purpose". Very nicely expressed, dear Ticklefingers. Margherita |

Ticklefingers - If you can recall ten minutes out of 45 years, wait 'til you get to 80. Whoa! Then you'll also know there is a God 'cause he'll be the one smiling at ya. LOL. Most enjoyed your work Ticklefingers. |
