you unbuckled my memory as I removed my Stacy Adams* and shoved them deep inside your closet, where I caught the scent of loose dresses and wandered into your smile and your welcoming façade ©December 11, 2015 / Jerry Pat Bolton *Back in tha day, Stacy Adams were the hip footwear, and they still are in my opinion. ~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~ |

"Facades" are supposed to 'dress up' an otherwise unattractive or 'structurally' bland area. Metaphorically, it makes me chuckle a bit at what may have been a unique experience for you JerryPat. I'm seeing you stuff your 'Stacys' deep into that closet quite clearly. ![]() 88's friend, and again, its great to have you back! ![]() She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |

Heh.Heh I wondered if anyone would snap to the Stacy Adams line Ticklefingers . . . I meant façade to represent a false front even though playing the game. Thank you for stopping by . . . ~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~ |

Such an intimately involving moment you painted here, Jerry. I love this. And the last two lines are powerful and tell so much. Margherita ![]() |

Margherita, I am always desirous of your thoughts concerning my poetry. Your way with words capture, for the most part, what I wish my poem would mean to its readers. Thank you. ~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~ |
