thoughts of embracing the lady I love Autumn comes quietly even though thoughts turn to Autumn my heart lies elsewhere dusky September sunset her smile shames the Autumn moon stepping around the first Autumn-rainbow leaves yearning for her touch pure, clear moonlight and fireflies that vanish___ all there is deep forest heart I hate to step on fallen leaves to choose the path not taken Misty Autumn morning as in a painting or a dream lovers passing --- b. e. adams (9/2016) |
