Speck of soot in a leafless tree or rag blown wildly on winter wind, plunging earthward onto another victim of freezing cruelty. Aqueous green fields death traps for some, bounty for you, barking a death rattle to the core of trembling creatures, their soft bodies you will soon inspect closely. |
