I never thought I would live this long Were the words that rang in my song I thought I'd up and flown away Ne'er sit and sing and see the day I never dreamed I'd see this sun Nor the kiss of each new bright morn The Winds that should have taken breath Should of pushed me over to a paupers death Yet here I am as unhappy be I'm still all alone in a empty tree But winds blew and the branches crack Yet here I stand still not on my back I aint as good as I once was but I'm as good, once, as I ever was. - Toby Keith |

I could have written this, wish I had. ~*~ Better pass boldly into that other world, in the full glory of some passion, than fade and wither dismally with age.--James Joyce ~*~ |
