* * * There was that couple kissing very close to the point where our paths crossed. The electromagnetic waves caused a storm of breathtaking intensity. It didn't come from them though. It occurred between us, though our eyes had met just furtively for a split second. Two hearts that recognize each other and communicate without words, across walls, through the ether, at enormous distance, a distance that is filled with pure matter of love. A furtive glance had been enough to start a cosmic tremor. Invisible waves labeled with our names which perform a unique, joyous dance on the platform of our colliding hearts. * * * |

And Margherita, it can, and does, happen just like you so wonderfully described. When the chemistry is right all it takes is a look, a penetrating look. A niece of mine was walking down a city sidewalk during lunch hour. A man was walking down the sidewalk opposite her. He saw Carolyn and yelled across the street loudly over the street noise, "Stop walking you are my future wife!" She did stop and stared at him. He almost got ran over as he fought traffic to get to her. They were married in less than a year. She bore him children and the man died far too young from cancer. ~*~ Why is bra singular and panties plural? ~*~ |

Wow, dear Jerry, what an amazing story, with a sad conclusion, but that was no doubt a happy marriage until it lasted and such love will go on forever ... beyond earthly limits. Dear Martyjo, thank you so much for your kind comment and for sharing with us your own wonderful poetic rendering of such a "moment of sparks" that can never be ignored, nor forgotten, It is an amazing event, isn't it!? Love and peace ... and joy in remembering Dear Ida, thank you so much for your very perspicacious comment. I so agree with you, it simply can't be that there is nothing after this incredibly complex and rich existence here on Earth. Consciousness is the key ... we may appear to be individuals with many attempts to reach perfection, but still somehow "incomplete" ... but on the soul level we are linked and we become truly One, from One Source, the Divine Source where we simply are part of Eternity.
