Conquistador, I want to win your heart, cursed celestial body I want to possess your revolt, and all that we predict, Conquistador I want to force to kneel down your eyes, curious tigers I want to share your imagination, with the gods Conquistador, I want to enter your citadel, I want to climb all your hills, to enjoy on them, I also want to abolish the chance, and the stolen jewels, As Mallarmé, Conquistador, I want all South America, I want the sun of your throat, and the wise latitudes, I want the treasure of your silences, Conquistador I want to belong to you, I want to throw weapons And only to believe in this falling star that freeze me as a kiss, The only truth of the moment. |
