Long sleeves caress our arms in a soft warm embrace. Autumn has come to break heat’s sweltering hold on the long afternoons. Now can begin the slow progression of sleeves to sweaters, jackets to coats, light linens to blankets and comforters. As the days grow shorter and the leaves turn color and fall, we surround ourselves with soft textures. We snuggle down against the increasing cold, cupping hot mugs in our hands. LGR©9/10/18 |

Lori, great telling of what is to come....I'm hugging a cup of peppermint tea right now...really got cooler. Enjoyed reading. |

Great write my friend. Would sure like some of the cooler air down here! Have had a lot of rain lately, which has kept to temps. in the upper 80's, but back to the 90's next week! j. |

I know that's ever so right, Lori. My long sleeves is aching to be worn. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |
