Velocity~ Come to me upon March gales, I'll untangle your lofty words from trees, we'll discover the whoosh of desire as it whips corners and fills the windsocks of sunrise. Such tousled humans, with tousled needs, we create poems on kites to release in ballyhoo flight, we love in fierce gusts, we inhale one another for a thousand days. You bring Spring to my body, pearly rains, then Summer haze and smoke, a splash of blackberries stain skin as we roll in a sweet justice known only to lovers, a cool breeze blows approvingly, caught in the rushes, tiny brushes.. of kismet whirr past us, it's just a matter of velocity. ©Augustsky [This message has been edited by augustsky (02-07-2019 10:33 AM).] |
