Rebirth Of You (For My Daughter) By Paul Wilson Today marked one month since you passed away sweet daughter It seems like a lifetime since we spoke and said I love you Tears I’ve cried and memories I’ve relived every day haunt me To have a big part of your life taken from you is hard to take I could mourn losing you for the rest of my life Instead I chose to smile and celebrate one month of your rebirth I will always carry the pain of losing you in my heart But I will always know that God had a special need for you We were blessed to have spent a lifetime together I watched you grow up and tried to teach you to be a good person You always helped others and put them first I wish we could have had more time together but it wasn’t meant to be We had so many more memories left to make So many more talks that will never happen now My heart breaks every time I think of calling you on the phone Because I know you’re not there to answer It’s supposed to rain tomorrow and it reminds me of you You loved the rain and it makes me believe it’s your tears of joy There is no more pain and hurt where you are darling you are free Someday we will be together and again my heart will smile Until that day comes we will have to be strong and keep our faith in God I had so many more poems to share with you that I wrote about you and life That you will never get to read I will keep all of them to share with you when we are together again Until them I hope this letter reaches you by some miracle I love you Daddy Copy Righted 12-13-19 ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ Paul [This message has been edited by Paul Wilson (12-13-2019 11:12 PM).] |

So sorry for your loss Paul. I know the pain you are feeling. I lost my oldest daughter to cancer in 2000. She was only 34. The heartache never goes away but I know that death is a temporary condition and that helps me to deal with the loss. |

Michael...Thank you, I also believe my words will reach her. Very hard to deal with, but I'm trying to think positive. That is what she would want me to do. ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ |

Ida...Thank you for your words of encouragement, I really appreciate them. Sorry for your loss. My daughter also died of cancer. Thankfully she didn't suffer long. Paul ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ |
