I’ve heard life is a highway I wonder where it ends? And how the trip progresses, I guess that all depends- On just how fast you travel- What baggage you accrue? Choices made, and past regrets Rest largely, friend, on you. I’ve heard the greatest freedom Is going down the road. It’s best to travel lightly To have no fixed abode. The choices lie before you, And only you can choose- Toss the coin, heads you win- If it comes up tails you lose. It really doesn’t matter- Each has to run his race… You can live a life with honor, Or wind up in disgrace. Go on and seize the moment- Live only in the now! The road will always end in death A foe to which all bow. |

Yes, John, seize the day. Yes, one always has choices and one just has to have the courage to make them. I choose to seize the best of the past and build on it, blending it with the vibrant present while looking to the glow of the future and weaving them all into the happiest and best outcome possible. ![]() |

I don't see death as a foe, John. Does that mean I win? |

The first line reminded me of that song. . . Well done. . . -- That which gives light must endure burning. |
