"Whence have you come?"
But She just smiled and said:
"That I cannot tell,
for Man would surely go there
and in His arrogance
trample the seedlings dead".

And there's so much truth in what you write. As long as most humans don't take care of everything around them, they are undeserving of the thing called Beauty.
