              A Forever Love

When the world tips into dusk, we find
ourselves most tied to the dark and gritty
   ache of the past.
I have only words and my solemn promise
to offer, on my life and my sacred honor;
and from the wellsprings of my heart
   and soul …
the comprehensive ocean of my
unconditional love, forever.
