I sat and watched you walking 'round,
Looking lost, but my eyes found,
Something deep within your eyes,
Which I knew could change both our lives.
A beautiful girl with matching stride,
But needing someone by her side,
So I held her close and smiled bright,
We talked and laughed and danced all night.
In the end my heart jumped in,
So I backed away and made new friends,
When you were gone, but your memory here,
I couldn't stop missing you or control my tears,
I care about you and miss you more,
Because you are all that I'm thinking of, you're the one I adore.
