How Long Until the sun shines it’s very last ray To warm the earth, to brighten the day I will love you Until the moon beams across the night In it’s final descent to bring light I will love you Until the rain brings its last drop To moisten the earth, to quench the crop I will love you Until the snow paints its farewell scene Of silence and winter, white and serene I will love you Until the last child brings peace on earth To the last mother who’s given birth I will love you Until the last minute, last second, of time ends The last goodbye of earth transcends I will love you Until eternity has run out at last And forever is a time of the past I still will love you. ------------------ Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind... |

I really enjoyed this poem. Love truly knows no bounds, no time and no distances. |
