Alone Alone in the Darkness, I sit and I think How it should be How low did you sink If you could see my face, my heart, my soul Was tearing me apart your only goal I wonder, in the dark Why you were so blind. So careless, Heartless Unthinking of my mind. Within is a sensual heart Lying in waiting, Still yet unopened The key is lost, Yet still it beats But now I'm wandering alone, on the streets Crying in the dark, Alone yet surrounded… Memories confused, painful and jaded. Feelings unending, and more I'm confounded How could you do this, are you now sated? Ah! But darkness has it’s own rewards. Warmth, stillness, comfort and Creatures Holding me, closely, Darkness my Lord Touching me gently, seeing your features Welcome Me Darkness, My Dark and True Lover For you are my savior, sent from above Here I shall wait, for you I'll atone For it is my life, to be Alone.
